  • Discover supreme comfort with this luxurious comforter that is filled with organic alpaca fiber and wool batting. The encasing fabric is made from 100% GOTS certified organic cotton, and finished with our signature crescent moon stitch across the width of the comforter. This striking feature prevents any movement or bunching of the fibers. When you sleep with our alpaca and wool comforter, you will feel the gentle hug of the airy filling as you drift into a peaceful sleep. And the benefits of this comforter go beyond a great night's sleep:

    Allergy Relief
Breathe in that fresh morning air; alpaca fiber and wool batting are both hypoallergenic, and the encasement has been micron-tested and impenetrable by dust mites. This combination creates an environment that is protected from dust mites and other allergens.
    Warming
Alpaca fiber is hollow, which makes it one of the warmest natural fibers available. We blend this with sheep wool to create a gentle and airy filling that will keep you warm while it wicks away moisture. So you can sleep at a comfortable temperature without the discomfort of night sweat.
    Environmentally Friendly
Sleep easy at night knowing that the animals who helped to create your pillow are raised in a pesticide free environment, and that their coats are a natural renewable resource. No chemicals, bleaches, or dyes are used in processing our wool; and the fabric encasement is 100% organic cotton, so you may give back to the planet with a completely bio-degradable piece when you are done with it.

  • With proper care, your alpaca wool comforter will provide a lifetime of comfort. For daily use, it is recommended that your comforter remains in a duvet cover to protect it from soil, perspiration, and wear.

Occasionally leaving your comforter in the sun will help the wool to naturally re-loft and air out. The sun's UV rays combined with wool's natural anti-microbial properties will keep your comforter fresh and clean for years to come.

We do not recommend machine washing your alpaca comforter, as cleaning greatly increases the amount of wear and shortens the lifespan of your investment. Spot clean using an enzyme cleaner, rubbing alcohol, or hydrogen peroxide.

If you chose to wash your alpaca wool comforter, it is important that you do not allow the product to be agitated or heated, as it shrinks and felts the wool. Follow these instructions for the best outcome:

Never use the wash cycle - even "delicate" settings can agitate and damage wool.

    1. Soak: Fill with cold water and add a small amount of biodegradable detergent or wool wash. Let items soak.
    2. Spin: Skip the wash cycle. Manually run the spin cycle to remove water.
    3. Repeat: Optional additional soak and spin as needed.
    4. Air Dry Only: Drape in the sun or a warm place. Never machine dry.

Do Not Bleach, Iron, or Dry Clean, even at natural-focused cleaners.
